Discover Estonia and beyond

Favourably situated in north-eastern Europe, Estonia gives one the opportunity to discover the culture and attractions the country has to offer in itself as well as to look further and travel to its neighbouring countries with access made easy by various modes of transportation and short distances.

Besides discovering Estonia and the Medieval Old Town of Tallinn, a spontaneous visit to Riga, the beautiful capital of Latvia would take one no more than a few hours, be it by plane, bus or a rental car. While already across borders in Latvia, why not also visit the third Baltic State of Lithuania, which also boasts a famous Old Town which along with that of Tallinn and Riga is also on the UNESCO’s World Heritage list.

Another advantage to bear in mind here is that while arriving in Tallinn, one could also consider departing from the airports of Vilnius or Riga, which both accommodate a great number of international flights.
Looking up north, another guaranteed worthwhile experience would be to pay visit to Finland or Sweden. While Helsinki is now accessible from Tallinn harbour only in 1.5 hours by a hydrofoil ship, an overnight stay in a ship with lovely cuisine and entertainment would take one straight to Stockholm.

Thus while considering discovering Estonia and what it has to offer, don’t forget to look beyond borders and take advantage of your central location.
